Millican Reserve is private property and is not open to the public.
Homeowner families and Conservancy members have access to Millican Reserve; if you don’t fall into either category, please consider scheduling a tour of the property, joining the Conservancy, or attending one of our frequent community events. We look forward to seeing you!

If you are a Conservancy Member, you can access the equestrian trails via the Stables Entrance to Millican Reserve, which is located at 1301 Rock Barn Road, College Station, TX 77845. You MUST call before you haul.
If you are a Conservancy Member, you can access the trails via the Farm Entrance to Millican Reserve. This can be found at 19851 FM 2154 College Station, TX 77845.

Fishing is not allowed.
If you are an angler, keep an eye on our calendar because we do host fishing activities from time to time. And if you are a homeowner at Millican Reserve, please check with us because some rules are different for you.
For safety reasons, it is never recommended to venture onto the trails alone. And anyone under 16 must always be accompanied by an adult.
No. (That’s the short answer.)
All participants must be Conservancy Members to access the property. Please ask your friend to purchase a Conservancy Membership before joining you on the property. A TrailPass membership is inexpensive and helps support our conservation vision! (Note that minors listed on their parent’s member account do not need to hold their own membership.)
Members may bring friendly, well-behaved dogs to approved areas at Millican Reserve as long as they remain on leash or under voice control at all times. You are responsible for picking up after your dog!
Limited access to Millican Reserve’s trail system is available to members of the Conservancy. Members support the conservation mission of Millican Reserve and help fund the maintenance of the trails. If you would like to hit the trails, please consider joining the Conservancy.
Absolutely! Central air and heat is provided.
Yes! A list of preferred vendors will be supplied; however, you are more than welcome to choose a vendor not on our list. All vendors must be approved and have adequate insurance and licensing. Security for events serving alcohol or having over 100 guests must use Brazos Valley Police Services.
A signed contract and non-refundable deposit (applied to the rental fee) are required to hold a date for an event at the Boathouse. The non-refundable deposit, half of the rental fee or $750 (lessor of the two), will go toward the final payment. The final payment is due 2 weeks prior to the event. Payment plans are available if needed.
A TABC licensed and insured bartender must serve all alcohol. Insurance information must be on file with The Boathouse. Security must be hired if alcohol is served. A list of preferred vendors will be provided to make your bar tending decision simple.
The Boathouse is 1,055 square feet. It is 19 feet wide by 48 feet long. The space can be divided in half by lovely folding wooden doors if desired. The deck overlooking the water is 19 feet wide by 16 feet long. The walking pier is 90 feet long, and is perfect for pictures.
The Boathouse is ideal for seated groups of 50-75. Seating added on the porch overlooking the water can accommodate up to 100 total guests. Groups over 100 are well managed using indoor and outdoor space. Additional fees may apply to groups over 100.
Millican Reserve revolves around building a healthy community. Ask about biking, hiking, nature activities, horseback riding, canoeing and kayaking, wildlife education, fishing, farm tours, team-building and professional facilitation!
All weddings are booked for full days (8:00 AM to Midnight). This includes any set-up and clean-up time needed. All other rentals are booked in time frames (usually 6 hour blocks). This includes any set-up and clean-up time needed.
Yes. A credit card can be kept on file OR 2 weeks prior to your event, a $500 damage deposit will be collected. This amount is returned within a timely manner after your event minus any damages.
