Sounds of the Night Hike

Millican Reserve Land Conservancy welcomes nature explorers, young and old, to enjoy a night time hike at Millican Reserve.  This family friendly instructor-led hike will allow explorers to experience the sounds and sights of nature at nightfall. This hike is for beginner level hikers/naturalists and will be paced to accommodate families and young children. This will be a short walk / hike around 1.5 miles in length. Hikers should bring water and plan to wear trail and weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Remember to check the weather before you head out and bring a jacket.

If you have night vision glasses this is the perfect time to break them in! If not don’t worry, we’ll be listening more than looking during this hike.

This event is FREE and open to all members of the community.

Please plan to arrive a few minutes before 8:000 pm so we can head out on schedule!

Parking 

Please use the Farm Entrance to Millican Reserve (19851 FM 2154). Designated parking is at the Base Camp grassy area. You MAY NOT PROCEED past the Farm area in your vehicle. 

All outdoor events are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Registered attendees will be notified via email in the event of a cancellation.
