Volunteer at The Farm at Millican Reserve
Join us every Friday and Saturday for Volunteer Hours at The Farm at Millican Reserve and make a difference in our community. This event is open to anyone who wishes to participate. No need to sign up in advance, just show up ready to get your garden on! Engage in a variety of activities such as weeding, harvesting, planting, and participating in special events like our sweet potato harvest. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just looking to spend some time outdoors, there’s something for everyone. Plus, as a token of our appreciation, volunteers are encouraged to take home veggies from the farm.
There’s no requirement to stay the entire two hours – drop in and out as your schedule allows. To ensure a comfortable and productive experience, we recommend bringing the following items:
- Gloves
- Close-toed shoes
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
- Water bottles
All ages are welcome, so bring your family and friends for a fun and rewarding morning at the farm. Your efforts help us maintain a thriving, sustainable community garden.
We look forward to working alongside you!
